Spring Break and In-service Day Programs

Everyone loves a day off, but the Museum wants to help parents make time out of school fun and educational. Starting this month, the Museum will offer new children’s programming on scheduled USD 259 in-service days and spring break.

Visitors make pet rocks at the Exclusive Opening of Crystallizing Cultures.

The first scheduled day is Presidents' Day, Monday, February 17. The Museum will have related crafts and activities for kids from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. This program is free with Museum admission and appropriate for all children ages three and up. The activity is a come-and-go program and requires no registration.

Lincoln's cane is in the Hall of Presidents on the second floor.

During spring break, March 17 - 21, the Museum will host its second annual Week of Heroes. Daily activities during this week include visits from military, police, firefighters, and more. Families will enjoy educational activities, crafts, and meeting real-life heroes. Activities are free with Museum general admission.
